The Bills continued to be plagued by inconsistencies as they fell to the Tennessee Titans with the heart-breaking score of 35-34.
Bills QB Ryan Fitzpatrick was better in the air, finishing 27 of 35 for 225 yards and three touchdown passes to Fred Jackson, Donald Jones, and Stevie Johnson. But Fitzpatrick also turned the ball over twice, including a late interception that allowed the Titans the winning score. With the Bills facing a third down at their own 39 yard line, Fitzpatrick threw a terrible pass which was picked off by the Titans who went 52 yards in less that two minutes.
While the Bills mostly fought from behind all game, bright spots were from an 89 yard kickoff return from Brad Smith that resulted in a touchdown, and the 120 yards and one touchdown from Fred Jackson. Big sign Mario Williams continued to be a no-show on the field.
The (3-4) Bills have a bye this week.
